CRISP & PLEASANT ACIDITY/MEDIUM ROAST/LAUREL COFFEE
La Catrina’s Laurel coffee is produced in the regions of Santa Rosa (South Central region of Guatemala) and Huehuetenango (Northwest region of Guatemala) and then blended together to produce a perfectly balanced taste. Coffee that is grown in the Santa Rosa region boasts a balanced cup with chocolate notes, while the coffee grown in the region of Huehuetenango is known for its bright acidity, and floral notes. Both regions are known for producing exceptionally great coffee. The Laurel only comes from coffee farms that are situated at a minimum of 1,200 meters above sea level. In your cup, you can expect floral, sweet chocolate and soft nutty notes, a round body, and a crisp and pleasant acidity.
It is our belief here at La Catrina Coffee that the fine arts are an important part of the educational system. The recent Covid-19 pandemic has made it more difficult than ever for children to have access to music education, so La Catrina Coffee is on a mission to help support those children out there with “big dreams” who may not have the financial support to pay for music lessons, instruments, or other related necessities. To help foster the love of music in children, $1.00 from every bag sold of Viva La Música coffee, La Santa Rosa (Viva La Música Volume I) and La Luz de Columbia (Viva La Música Volume II) will go to help support various avenues of music education.

Instructions: Brewing the perfect cup of coffee is all about personal preference! We recommend that you begin with what is referred to as the "Golden Ratio" (one to two tablespoons of ground coffee for every six ounces of water). Once you have tried this, you can adjust the ratio to your liking.
Storage Instructions: Store coffee beans in a cool, dry place. Coffee should be stored in an airtight container away from heat and direct sunlight. We recommend purchasing small quantities of La Catrina Coffee regularly (what you would use in 4-5 weeks) at a time, so that your coffee is always at peak freshness. Keep in mind that your coffee is roasted to order, so please plan your orders accordingly!
Please Note: In order to provide you with the freshest coffee possible, your coffee is roasted to Order! Please allow 3-5 days for Roasting, Resting and Packaging. We promise that you will not be disappointed!
